The Two Speeds Of Organisation

Time Asleep Last Night - 03:54
Time Randomly Awaken This Morning- 08:51
Time Eventually Dozed Off - 10:03
Time Properly Awoken - 12:35

This morning I was rather confused when I woke up, as I seemed to have my mouth stuck to my arm. Upon detaching it at the second attempt, and then eventually deciding to try and see what had done this, I discovered that I had impressively managed to cut my lip in my sleep, and proceed to bleed all over my arm, therefore sticking it to my chin with blood. A rather strange awakening. Having done the sensible thing and washed it off, I then did something even more sensible and went back to bed again. So today was the first day I 'officially' got up in the afternoon. It must be official, the blog says so.

Today was marked by a burst of sudden events, which surprised me. I'm reminded of the comment from those vast e-mail listings of qualities about Chuck Norris/Mr T/Vin Diesel that seem to be all the rage at the moment - if you want them, feel free to ask and I'll forward them on - which suggests that Vin Diesel only has two speeds; walk and kill. In a similar fashion, I only have two speeds myself; fast asleep and frenetic activity.

So this Wednesday was marked by frenetic activity. I managed to do all my Christmas shopping, navagating the marauding crowds of chavs, mothers and screaming brats with consumate style and skill to pick up all the presents I needed within a short space of time; then return home in time to get a haircut which I had booked only this very afternoon. So here was a sudden burst of activity which impressed me; all this accompanied within only a few hours! I also managed to do various menial household tasks like return the ladders to the shed, having used them to store my collection of cardboard boxes for electrical goods in the loft.

Tomorrow I will be back on the fast asleep speed. However, it is only now two and a bit days until Christmas. Whether that has any bearing on my speed, we have yet to see.
