So I'm on the way home now, on the bus. Except my journey is being obstructed! By who, you ask? Well, it's no less than the police (no, not the 80s band).
There is a police car essentially blocking the entire road, which a bus is completely unable to get round. With all other options requiring creativity beyond the capabilities of a bus driver, we're just sitting here. I am keeping my spirits up by listening to the loud phone conversation of the person behind me - highlight so far, she's scared of moths.
Just what I wanted at the end of a long day in the middle of a long week!
