Lack of Commitment

Apologies to one and all, I was intending to update this far more regularly as befitted my recent run. Haven't done so the last fortnight, which is not really up to par.

So, why do things just crack in an instant despite going smoothly for such a long time? Well, no real answer to that one. Just a random musing and pondering as I am prone to.

Maybe there isn't a real answer, but here is mine...

Nothing is perfect. Especially things such as life, people and relationships. The thing is, if they do go smoothly for awhile then crack...you really have it pretty good. A lot of times its just a permanent downhill slop into a large fissure.

My theory about the cracks is that if the smooth parts are good, then the cracks are just something to remind you how good the smooth parts are. If there were no cracks, you would never know how good you have it in the smooth parts and you'd take then for granted.

So thats the theory from the one who probably causes the most cracks in your life...with the hope that I create quite a few good smooth patches as well :)
